Either way, safety is always good to consider, because they don't know about every killer everywhere. It seems a new killer is out there daily.

Another thing to keep in mind is: Do not look like a victim. Most people (and I have seen more females than males do this) tend to walk at night with their head down, hunched over, looking scared and timid. Don't. Stand up, head high, and do NOT avoid eye contact. If you make eye contact, your potential attacker may decide not to touch you because you are not scared, thus (s)he will have a harder time doing anything. (S)he will move off to another person who won't take as much effort and won't be as much danger to the attacker.

And just watch out. If you see someone acting weird, stay away. Pull out your cell and pretend to be talking to someone. Or actually call someone. Whatever it takes to deter your attacker. Worse comes to worse, SIGN.

It may be a movie, but it does work. Sometimes the solar plexis can be hard to hit depending on his grip, but the other three are easy targets.

And yeah, it was an OK movie. The exploding crown! Tongue

Wandering off-topic.

The groin would not work as effectively if the attacker is female (I said 'as effectively', not 'at all'). I suppose once the instep is done, the solar plexus could be hit rather hard.

One more thing: it is better to kill them in self-defense than be in your coffin. Don't aim to kill, but if that's what it takes then remember to hit their nose with your palm in an upwards motion. Or their neck right on the adam's apple (or where the apple would be if it is a female you are hitting).

keep ur head up shoulders back walk with confedense look around aloud ever mumble about what u have to do when u get home if u look like u know what's going on where ur going that u'r running on a schedule so u will be missed with in 15 minutes of being late it drops u out of the top victum situation killers rapes and such go for the girls who are scare jumpy slouching and such
if grabbed act calm if they ask for money or any thing slowly give it to them don't make any jumpy movements wait till there a safe distance and call the cops never give them reason to hurt u
was told this by afew diffrent cops it's good solid advice

not all the time... when they have a very sharp knife to your stomach and are trying to undo your belt and tell you if you scream they will kill you... staying calm won't work... especially in that situation... i was lucky i have strong lungs and a strong voice to go with it because i got attacked and almost rapped and killed at a bus stop... my dad said i did the right thing though... the guy was a reg. at my work and he didn't show up after that night

I have heard that the cops actually say you should scream and yell because it will attract unwanted atteniton to the attacker, and for Chanallee it did work. I was on the phone while she was being attack. I was so scared that I forgot to call the cops. If they want you money then give it to them but don't comramise your self. if they try to hurt you get attention and get away, and never sit in a covered bus stop alone at night, remeber that it is a box that you may not get out of.
