Welcome, all, to the Zone of Entertainment.  I am your host, and the sheriff in this town. This is your area for pretty much all forms of Entertainment, so we hope that during your stay, you keep yourself entertained.  If I see people posting here whom I don't know, I'll probably PM or IM you to welcome you, but if I seem busy and don't quite get to you, don't take it personally.  We're all hombres here.

But before you get started, there's some ground rules.  If you are going to post in this forum, you are required to read and abide by our rules.  Failure to do so can lead to warnings, probation, suspension, and ultimately, being banned from posting on HV at all (though we in EZ sometimes choose alternative, more entertaining methods of disciplinary action).  So, I highly reccomend you read these.

- These rules still apply.  Read them, understand them.  If you have any questions about them at all, any staff member can be reached by PM or IM to help you (though, if it's concerning something here in EZ, we'd rather you contact our moderators first).

Rule 1:  No E-Testosterone Battles
As comedy is the spice of life, we who moderate Entertainment can appreciate people jabbing light insults at each other IF it's all in good fun.  If there's a plain and obvious way that the poster you're referring to is going to get all emotional and wake my ass up over it, don't do it.  There is meant to be respect among all posters here, and violating that respect will land you a good ways up shit creek with a turd for a paddle.

Example of what is okay:
Black Mage:  I'm not much a fan of Avril.  If I want to hear about angsty canadians, I'll watch Degrassi.
Veko:  That's because you're fat, fatty.  Everyone knows, Avril is what it's all about now.  She's wild and free, she's reminding us what it's like to be a TRUE punk.  And her boobs look better than yours.
Black Mage:  I figured a warhammer kid like you would be more into GWAR.  It'd be a step up from Avril, at any rate.  Her ridiculous antics are the poorest marketing scheme I've ever seen, and her voice is like nails on a chalkboard if you ever hear her live.  Besides, she didn't even want to do punk, she wanted to be a country singer.

Example of what is NOT okay:
Black Mage:  Avril just plain sucks.  Anybody that likes her is a fucking moron.
Zeta333:  Nah uh ur just jellos that she makes more money than ur shitty poser punk bands u suck dicks man.  all y'all r a bunch of faggits and hippocrates.

Rule 2:  DO NOT SPAM!
I cannot stress this enough.  We seem to be having an exceeding spam problem in here lately, which can easily be avoided if you simply read the rules.  For more information, see my other topic here.

Rule 3:  Two Threads Are Not Better Than One
If you see something that already exists within the first two pages of our topic list, don't post it again.  If you plan on posting something that has likely been posted before, check first.  Related to this,

Rule 4:  128 Days Later
Topics from the third page and beyond are to stay there.  Reviving dead topics just makes a mess of the entire forum.  If what you want to post about is that long ago, feel free to make a new topic on it, and perhaps add a fresh spin of your own.

Rule 5:  Entertainment Zone, not HV: Oink
We are not a file sharing forum. No asking for copyrighted materials, although clips or anything on free TV is fine.

Rule 6:  U R not 2 gud @ englshi
One of the rules that applies to ALL of HV is that you respect the people who have to read your posts, and make them readable.  THIS MEANS SPELLING AND GRAMMAR.  Netspeek is forbidden here.  This is a forum, not a chat room, so you have all the time in the world to read over your posts and construct them so they make sense.  We've even included a spell check system for you.  Use it.  A typo or two, we can deal with, but if you don't even bother (noticeably enough that your entire post is loaded down with what could be taken as outright insults to the english language) then your post WILL be taken as spam and promptly deleted.  Lengthier posts may have a copy PMed to you with a request to fix them up.

Rule 7:  Freedom of Speech
You are free to share your opinion all you want, but bear in mind that so is everyone else.  Other people are likely to have an opinion ABOUT your opinion, which will often lead to disagreements.  Rather than lose your cool about it, simply be considering factual reasons that cause you to hold that opinion.  Remember, kids, there is a reason and logic to everything.  It's never just, "I hate this movie" or "This is a bad movie".  It's, "I hate this movie because the acting wasn't believable, the script was cheesy as hell, and they overloaded the CGI".

Rule 8:  Know Your Friends
Myself and my deputies have been carefully chosen, hand-picked to be the best fellows HV has to offer.  And the best news yet is, we're here to help you.  If you have any questions or complaints, you can reach me or Hero by sending us a Private Message, or an IM.  Remember, boys and girls:  There are no stupid questions.

Rule 9:  You Gotta Gotta Cut Loose!
Remember, this forum is called ENTERTAINMENT.  Have fun here, and as long as you don't break the other rules, we'll get along just fine.
